Tatin-style toasted sandwich

*Melt half the butter in a frying pan. Add the sugar and cook until caramelised.

• 40g *Butter
• 2el *Sugar

*Add the apples and cinnamon stick and coat with the caramelised sugar. Add the water gradually to cook the melting apples. Set aside.

• 1 *Apple
• 5cl *Water
• 1stokje *Cinnamon stick

*Preheat your appliance.

Stap 4 /8

*Lightly butter one side of each slice of sandwich bread. Spread the cooked apples on the unbuttered side.

• 40g *Butter

*Close with the remaining slices of sandwich bread, buttered side out.

*Place the sandwiches in the appliance.

*Place on a plate and finish with the liquid caramel.
